GT40 Roadster FIA-replica

This truly outstanding Ford GT40 Roadster (Replica) has been built with the most incredible attention to detail.
The aim was to recreate first of the iconic original four cars (GT/108) whilst matching the performance specification of one of the most successful of the four original cars GT/111, which was known to have competed successfully in many historic events.
The car has been built following the strict Appendix K homologations and is ready for historic racing.
As such the car come with HTP papers valid until 2031
The car is currently finished in the iconic colour combination of Wimbledon White with Matt Blue nose and Stripes as used by the racing legend Jim Clark.
The quality of the build is very impressive indeed and benefits from having a steel welded monocoque with fibre glass bodywork as used in period.
Whilst the Hubs, pedalbox, steering rack, gearshift and fuel caps have had no expense spared as they are all cast from aluminium, thanks to Gelscoe Motorsport.

The 289 ci engine has been built by Steve Warrior Motorsport, using Weber 48 IDA carburettors which has given it a very healthy 455 BHP at 6800 RPM (Dynoed)
FIA approved rubber fuel bladders are fitted for safety with a dual pump system for reliability.

Gorgeous period correct specification Borrani alloy wheels are fitted front and rear
