Selected Car Group acquires German partner
Selected Car Group acquires German partner specializing in premium cars.
One of the most experienced players in the Danish leasing market, Selected Car Group, acquires Holden Car GmbH located in Flensburg. Holden Car has extensive experience with leasing and importing premium cars and CEO at SCG Ulrik Larsen is excited to be able to expand the business to the south:

“Holden Car is an ambitious company that has build up a solid purchasing network throughout Europe – mainly in Germany. The fact that we can expand SCG with their top competencies in the purchase and sale of cars, especially for leasing, strengthens our position considerably. We gain ownership of a fine-grained sourcing network, which gives us excellent control over the insourcing of cars for the leasing business, including locating cars faster and more efficiently.”
The founder of Holden Car is Michael Holden, who has in-depth knowledge of Selected Car Group. He has partly been a subcontractor for Selected Car Group for the past five years and during this period he has delivered 700-800 hand-picked cars to SCG. Michael Holden has also had a past in SCG, where he was associated in the period 2009-2017 alongside with the development of Holden Car in Germany.
“I cannot imagine a more optimal solution than this, where all parties get the best of both worlds. I will continue my work here in Flensburg – and will continue to deliver cars of high international class. At the same time, I will be employed by SCG and thus become a part of a significant group. It will be like coming home again – but in an updated version” says Michael Holden.
